The highly respected Penzel family of bow makers spans four generations. Gerhard Penzel began his training with his great uncle E.M Penzel. He then worked in Stuttgart for a number of years before moving to Ostrach, Germany near Lake Constance in 1974 where the Penzel family has had its workshop ever since.
