A native of Cremona, Daniel Tonarelli was always attracted to wood working. He started playing the violin at age eight. He graduated from the International school of Violin Making in Cremona in1994. After a few years working with Marco Nolli he set up his own Cremona workshop in 1997. After almost 20 years he has become one of the most respected Cremonese luthiers.
