Dieudonné worked with Gustave Bazin in Mirecourt and Darché in Brussels before setting up his own very successful Mirecourt workshop in 1920. For over 40 years, he made fine instruments for major shops like Wurlitzer and Moennig in America and Millant in Paris as well as under his own name. He was noted for his beautiful red-orange varnish, which is demonstrated on this fine example.
