Pirastro No. 1 Violin E:

The No.1 E-string has a coated carbon steel core material and is wound with a very thin chrome steel flat-wire. This string produces a warm, sweet and brilliant sound with an outstanding response and no whistling of the open E-string. As the No.1 E-string is wound with chrome steel, it is long-lasting. Chrome steel does not corrode and is not affected by hand perspiration.

The No.1 string is available in 4/4 size with a ball (3112) or loop-end (3115) tailpiece attachment.
