Charles Nicolas Bazin became one of the best and most influential master bow makers in Mirecourt and the most respected of the Bazin dynasty which spanned four generations. They made bows under their own name but also for other makers and dealers. Bows stamped N. Lemaire a Paris were made for the Paul Beuscher firm in Paris.
This fine bow produces a smooth, rich tone not unlike a good Sartory.
